SHOPPING: Slowfest Farmrak
Life in the slow lane is the order of the day as Slowfest Farmrak takes over Makkasan train station on the Airport Rail Link line this Saturday: expect food and live music, plus arts and crafts workshops thrown into the mix.
CULTURE: Pecha Kucha
This regular event returns for its latest outing at Saisin University, in which speakers talk about projects and issues using the Pecha Kucha format from Japan, in which their speech is based around twenty images shown for twenty seconds each. Doors open at 6.30pm on Thursday, admission free.

OUTDOORS: Concert in the Park
The Bangkok Symphony Orchestra continues its extended 2014-15 run of the Concert in the Park; celebrate the arrival of the cool season and kick back with friends and a picnic at the park’s Sala Bhirom Bhakdi. Sessions run every Sunday from 5.30pm through until 01 February.

CULTURE: Off the Wall Burmese Street Art
As Burma begins to embrace street art as a new form of discourse to tell the stories of the country’s past and present, street artists Thu Myat and Wunna Aung showcase Off the Wall, the latest exchibition of contemporary Burmese art at Bangkok’s Thavibu Gallery. Runs until 13 December.
