Food Porn: Kanom Jeen Nam Prik

Kanom jeen nam ya pakang

Kanom jeen are Chinese rice noodles, served over a curry soup usually made with lots of creamy coconut milk. My favourite is nam prik, deliciously sweet with the distinct taste of satay sauce. Load it with fresh vegetables and enjoy – expect to pay around 30 baht for a regular eat-in portion. You can find it at just about any fresh market or street-side stall: I tucked into this bowlful at Udomsuk market.
